New features, improvements, and fixes in DeskCommit.

DeskCommit 0.4.4

  • Rotate a selected compatible external display to 0°, 90°, 180°, or 270°. Use R or Shift-R to choose the angle, then Return to apply.
  • Install future updates from within DeskCommit, then restart the app to finish updating.
  • Read what changed after an update or anytime from What’s New in the DeskCommit menu.

Rotation is unavailable for built-in or mirrored displays. Saved setups do not include rotation. Rotation has no automatic countdown to revert; use Undo in the same app session to restore it.

DeskCommit 0.4.3

  • Fixed the language picker layout in Settings so language names are easier to read and select.
How to update

Choose Check for Updates from the DeskCommit menu bar icon and follow the instructions. On 0.4.3 or earlier, open the downloaded DMG, quit DeskCommit, and replace the app in Applications.
